You can keep up with your chat conversations, schedule, announcements, and events in Church Center! Update your notification preferences to customize what notices you receive on your phone (push notifications) and what stays in Church Center.
Important
Email notifications are not affected by your Church Center notification preferences.
To access notifications, tap your profile picture to open your Me page. If there's a red dot on your profile picture, it means you have unread notifications.
Under Notifications on the Me page, tap a specific notification to mark it as read or tap Actions to mark all your notifications as read.
Tap View all to open the Notifications page. Your unread notifications are at the top, sorted by date. You can view your notifications and swipe to mark them as read or unread.
Access your notification preferences by tapping the gear icon.
Tip
You can also access your Notifications page from your profile and settings!
You can set preferences for chat, Services, Giving, and Group notifications from your Church Center profile.
Important
Disabling notifications stops push notifications from coming to your phone, but the unread alert in your notifications list in Church Center still appears.

Select your preferred app for receiving group and team chat notifications.

Set your Services notifications default to Church Center or the Services mobile app. This does not include chat notifications.

By default, you'll receive an emailed receipt each time you donate. You can turn this setting off.
Tip
If you want to receive donation receipts at an email address that isn't listed, add it to your profile.

Select a group and set your push notification preferences for that group. This does not include chat notifications. In-app notifications cannot be disabled.
