Manage chat messages

Once a conversation has been started, group and team members can send replies, GIFs, videos (up to 50MB), and images (a maximum of 10 at a time).

Important

Messages are limited to 4,979 characters.

Edit a message

You can only edit messages that you've sent in the Church Center mobile app. To edit your message:

1. Hold down on your message to open the options menu.

2. Tap Edit Message and make your changes.

React to a message

Anyone within a chat can react to a message.

1. Hold down on a message to open the reaction menu.

2. Tap the desired emoji to apply it to the message.

2. Select the desired emoji to apply it to the message.

Delete a message

Unless you're a group or team leader, you can only delete messages you've created. Leaders can delete any message in their group or team chat.

To delete a message:

1. Hold down a message to open the options menu.

2. Tap 🗑️ Delete Message.

1. Select the three-dot button next to the message.

2. Select Delete.
