In the Church Center app, you can receive push notifications for chat activity, when a new resource is posted, or when an event reminder goes out. From the Notifications widget, you can set your preferences for the notifications you want to receive.
Note
You can access Church Center notifications from the web browser and mobile app. However, notification preferences can only be set from the iOS or Android app.
To access notifications, tap your profile picture to open your Me page. You have unread notifications if there's a red dot on your profile picture!
On the Me page, tap a specific notification or tap Actions in your Notifications widget to mark all your notifications as read.
Tap View all to open the Notifications page. Your unread notifications are at the top, sorted by date. You can view your notifications, swipe to mark them as read or unread, and access your notification preferences using the settings icon.
Tip
You can also access your Notifications page from your profile and settings!
Select the group for which you'd like to update notifications under the Groups section of the Notification Preferences page.
Turn push notifications on or off from Church Center.

Toggle Chat activity on to have push notifications for messages, replies, and reactions in your chat conversations.

Toggle New resources if you want a push notification when a new resource is added to the group.

Use Event reminders if you want a push notification to remind you when an event is coming up.

(Leaders only) Turn on Attendance reminders if you want a push notification reminder to take attendance.
